The active ingredient in these fillers is hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance required for moisture retention in the skin. In addition to under-eye hollowness, crow’s feet (the wrinkles that extend horizontally from the corners of the eyes) and frown lines (the vertical creases between the eyebrows) are common with age. These wrinkles may respond well to a dynamic wrinkle relaxer such as Xeomin® or BOTOX® Cosmetic. These treatments allow muscles and skin to relax and help to smooth fine lines and deep wrinkles.
Neuromodulators such as Xeomin and BOTOX Cosmetic can be used to lift sagging eyebrows, smooth forehead creases, and eliminate nasolabial folds. They can also be used to address pebbly chin, neck bands, and jaw skin laxity for a fully rejuvenated appearance.
