In the days immediately following your procedure, you will need to relax and stay mostly in bed or on your couch. Be prepared to take a few days off of work in order to rest, sleep, and recover. Facelift recovery time will vary from person to person, but you should always err on the side of caution for the first several days after surgery.
Because both facelifts and neck lifts involve removing fat and tightening skin, it is normal to experience some soreness, tenderness, and bruising for several weeks after your procedure. Facelifts and neck lifts work below your skin’s surface, which means your body will take time to heal.
